On April 19th, 2009, I drove south to watch Rachel Goodrich perform live at Jimbo’s for the annual Swamp Stomp festival. This kazoo and ukelele playing songwriter has made somewhat of a name for herself in the Miami music scene. Unequipped for quality video footage, I did my best with the digital camera on hand. That said, if you’re ever without plans in Miami and feel like doing something adventurous, head out to Virginia Key for some live music, libation, bocce ball, and a rundown group of shacks built in 1980 thanks to the filming of Island Claws.
