The Phantom of the Opera :: Now Playing at The Broward Center for the Performing Arts

The Broadway Across America production of The Phantom of the Opera now playing at the Broward Center of the Performing Arts through January 17 is nothing short of Amazing.

This production has been able to recreate all the magic of the original New York production with all the drama, flair, color and darkness that make this my favorite musical.

All elements of the show work together in harmony to chill you to the bone!

The costumes are rich, colorful and plentiful as best showcased on the world famous Masquerade number.  The music of Andrew Lloyd Webber is the best of his renowned career, fusing musical theater and opera sounds in ways that still feel innovative some 24 years after its first opening night in 1986.

And no other show on stage has better special effects than The Phantom of the Opera.  For all you first timers I won’t ruin the experience with details of falling chandeliers, fires, waters, and disappearing acts, but suffice it to say that it still amazes those of us who have seen it many times.

The reason why The Phantom of the Opera is now the longest running musical in history and one of the most profitable entertainment projects worldwide is because audiences new and repeat, young and old keep coming back for more!

Don’t miss your chance to experience this breathtaking show!
