merther
West Indian. Denotes the sensations produced by smoking marijuana while listening to dub reggae. The merging and distortion of sense impressions that occurs during cannabinoid trance.
I was going to write something about how my thoughts and your thoughts and the thoughts of every other human are essentially and depressingly the same. Instead I want to share something that might be mildly unique about my brain. Reggae music makes me want to become a hobo. I don’t listen to it much and I certainly don’t fall into any of the common listener demographics for that genre, but if I hear the right piece of dub music played over a sufficiently powerful sound system, I have a strong urge to burn my meager belongings, break off all ties to society, and live in a drainage ditch. No mind-altering substances required.
