What does the red button symbolize?  What does it say about human nature?

Are these 197 clicks constructive or meaningless?

Food for thought.  Existentialism.  Mirrors.  Red buttons inside boxes.

**Just so you’re not confused: roflmao means “rolling on the floor laughing my ass off”, and the qxz means that it’s so funny the person hit random keys on the keyboard while he/she rolled around laughing.

This reminds me of the ending of Stephen King’s the Dark Tower series… which, by the way, was one of the most disappointing endings I’ve ever read.

Around the ending part (after it hides a tiny button inside the text) it suggests you to take your own life, then it sends you to various layers of hell, then you somehow condemn the world to limbo, then it takes you to the button world, and then it tells you a story about how someone told it not to press the button, and then it loops.

Yeah, Stephen King bitched out. SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER STOP READING NOW SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER I can’t believe he a) wrote himself into the book b) referenced the reader near the ending of the final book c) the final battle was the Crimson King throwing rocks or something at him. So fucking lame. Also I hated how the final three books had *totally* different language than the first four. Granted, they were written twenty years apart, but jesus christ.

"Morning, noon and night it’s click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click." "How many clicks is that?" "A lot."

Hmmm, well natural curiosity and all that – made me laugh (some great comments on the red button) – but I did eventually give up on it ….
