Nobody ever accused Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley of being a genius. But isn’t “sate money” what got Governor Rod Blagojevich into his current mess? Illinois politicians never learn. At least keep it on the DL.

This reminds me of another “The Story” story: a corrupt and decrepit South Side Chicago mental health residential facility, and a nurse who blew the whistle:

But this was on the South Side. As far as Daley knows, the Stevenson constitutes the Indiana border, so that’s a bit beyond his purview.
