It’s nice seeing friends evolve.
Back in our high school days, I remember TyRoot [vimeo, blog] investing most of his summer savings in his first serious camera lens. He wanted to drive through the back roads of Texas taking pictures of stormy skies. He wanted to take pictures that moved people.
A decade later, I find out Ty is producing cool video stuff at Fox Interactive Media in San Francisco. He also does some of his own experimenting on the side with time-lapse.
Here are his first 3 installments, in reverse chronological order:
My 3rd time-lapse test. I wish I had more time to set up, but I was rushing through most of these parts. Still tweaking a few things. (and forgive the insect in the last one).
Cities shown are Milan, Lake Como, Bern, & Cologne.
All shot on the 7D
Tokina 12-24mm f/4
And a few ND filters.
Testing out some more time-lapse photography with the 7D.
Tokina 12-24 F/4
3 ND Filters
One TripodUnion Square, and the Golden Gate Bridge.
Extremely windy both days, which caused the camera to shake a little. But still fun, nonetheless.
