Today, it was land art:
Richard Shilling is the artist. The name of this ephemeral piece is Cherry Leaf Colour Fade. Here’s a link to his blog:
A land artist you may have heard of: Andy Goldsworthy.
There’s a documentary about Goldsworthy called Rivers and Tides.
I hear it’s pretty trippy.
UPDATE: Spectrums are circular, at least Shilling’s leaf spectrum pictured above can also be a circle: instead of having two endpoints, it can be joined and go on and on: a continuum.
