I requested TOE to back post this because I want to write about someone discretely. I don’t want this to be read by the random visitor who hits TOEs homepage. Of course, that means I’m assuming the person I’m writing about isn’t a subscriber… but they could be. There’s a chance I could be writing directly to them. If that’s the case, if I am inadvertently writing (emailing) the person I am writing about, then I don’t care for your forgiveness. I am aware of what I am doing, and I am writing this (to you) only because I believe in what I am saying. I have thought about it for long enough to know that what I have to say is sound advice. Here it is: Listening to the same twenty-song playlist, studying to become a Jehova’s Witness, taking forty-minute showers in a household of eight, drinking four cups of Smooth Move tea everyday, talking about how bulimic you are, and eating nothing but bowls of Special K cereal is a bad and annoying way to live. I’m just trying to help here when I tell you to stop everything you’re doing and become a different person as soon as possible. You’re doing everything wrong. There’s nothing you’re doing right. I could go into more detail, but I want to remain salient and on point.
Watchtower society members claim to be different and better than the worldly people that they refer to as “bird food”. Society members refer to non-Witnesses as bird food because they look forward to the time when the birds will feast on the flesh of dead non-Witnesses after Armageddon. Is the Watchtower Society really morally superior and separate from the rest of American society?
The Jehovah’s Witness Watchtower organization has a long history of denigrating the ethnicities of its members. The very foundations of the society were built on racism. Just as the slave master kept slaves in enforced ignorance, the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society keeps members in ignorance by not allowing them to investigate the many inconsistencies in the organizations teaching.Passage taken from Racism in the Jehovah’s Witness Watchtower
Bulimia is an eating disorder. Someone with bulimia might binge on food and then vomit (also called purge) in a cycle of binging and purging. Binge eating refers to quickly eating large amounts of food over short periods of time. Purging involves forced vomiting, laxative use, excessive exercise, or fasting in an attempt to lose weight that might be gained from eating food or binging.
