If they don't understand, hand them printouts of other families' experiences. Visit the local police station and see if you can talk to the officers and educate them. For our children we have to do the impossible and in our cases our only option is left to fight for their dignity. <p style="text-align: justify;">Don't get depressed, it will only mak things more bleak. My mantra is my son is a wonderful child, I believe in him, and I don't believe in anyone in the school. <p style="text-align: justify;">Go to the OASIS website and you will see that you are not alone.

Luckily the policeman's son also has Aspergers' and I knew him from prior incidents. I am much more outwardly angry at the school and we do not hesitate to show it. My child comes first, his safety not some lazy, scared and ignorant teacher who does not like or understand my son. Don't cry, get motivated and demand some support from your school district!!!
