I am a nurse and passionate about health. People in America are generally unhealthy. The creation of sugar filled juice, coffee and pop has many people’s body starving for simple water. I agree, square tomatoes that never go bad are not my taste. We should be adopting the protocol in Europe- until it’s proven to be good for us, we shouldn’t use it. Instead, the FDA will throw anything onto the shelves until someone is hurt by it.

The weather and soil in South Florida are good enough for people here to get together and form small co-op gardens. I think that would be a good start.

I buy organic on fruits, vegetables, and meats (minimally processed, no hormones, etc). If you’ve got a Trader Joe’s near you, they’re priced competitively. Whole Foods is always more expensive. Turn off those crazy videos; they’ll just drive you crazy and lead you to believe that the apocalyse is around the corner. We’ve all lasted this long, I’m sure the Earth will continue to spin a little while longer. Interesting article, Atticus!

This is very interesting. It’s hard to figure out what should or shouldn’t be a real concern….and frankly I’m a little scared to watch the videos you linked to for fear of adding to the list of things to be freaked out about. I’ve convinced myself that stress is a bigger threat to my well-being than BPA, GMO, “milk pus“, etc.
