“My sixth grade Social Studies class not only failed to stress the importance of current events, but also killed any passion I may have nurtured with its weekly Monday News Quizzes. As such, the only news I ever hear about is stale news, and not only on the order of days, weeks, or months, but sometimes years. I’m a walking anachronism.”
“So you don’t know that Mr Destroyer of World Economies, George Soros, gave a total of $87,150 to democrats in 2008?”
“No, but I do know that Mr Big Mouth Radio Personality, Michael Savage, gave a total of $2,000 in 2004, half to the Republican National Committee, and the other half to George W Bush himself.”
“What did he donate in 2008?”
“Funny you should ask! Michael Savage, the conservative leader of Savage Nation, gave a total of $0 in 2008. That’s because he was possibly going to run for President himself. He is quoted as saying, I would think that somebody who’s not a politician might be a viable candidate. Of course his threat to run for president turned out to be another self-promotion stunt, and it worked, enough of a buzz was created to reach me, the Walking Anachronism.”
