Miami Beach Red VanDutch

herocious

red vandutch

Yesterday morning the water in Biscayne Bay was low and calm after a few days of sporadic thunderstorms. I could see what seemed like exotic fish feeding near the surface. If only I had brought a camera, then I would’ve captured the adult stingray cruising west at a constant, effortless rate. This stingray was in no kind of rush. It seemed to be relishing it’s freedom as it taught me how to live a long and prosperous life. Today I brought a Sony RX100M2 just in case another stingray wanted to teach me a lesson, but the water wasn’t so low or calm. I was about to give up waiting for a photographic subject when a red VanDutch sailed toward me then cut west across the bay.
