It’s Cold Outside :: Coral Gables Farmers Market

farmersmarketfirst off, hello all! hope you are enjoying your weekend.

secondly, it is cold outside and i am a wuss about temperatures under 70 but i am really liking it today.

speaking of today, i went to the farmers market on miracle mile in coral gables this morning. it’s held every saturday during this so-called ‘wintertime’. the last one is march 28. it is totally worth checking out in the late morning for some fresh locally grown produce and baked goods.  i had a delicious french sticky bun type thing for breakfast there, and they had fresh brewed colombian coffee for those of you who can’t function without a hit of caffeine.  they also host cooking demonstrations from local restaurants and have music performances. the street is blocked off right in front of coral gables city hall, that’s where it is held.  also, if you’re a plant/garden lover, there are a ton of both little and big plants to buy at super cheap prices.  you can spend either 20 minutes or a whole 3 hours there. definitely worth checking out one saturday from 8 AM-12 PM.  everyone brings dogs as well if you have one.
