Deep Thought #2

herocious

You know how every camera takes unique images? Just like every violin plays unique sounds? People pay big money for old violins. I’m talking about the ones made in the 17th and 18th centuries. The ones used by people who are known as violinists and nothing more. Cameras, violins, what else can you throw in the mix? What about keyboards? Does every keyboard write unique stories? Use unique words and spacing? There’s a lot of variables across keyboards. Size and shape of keys, placement of keys, bounce of keys, sound of keystrokes, color, Mac or PC. Will the same person, at the same time of day, in the same location, feeling the same way, fed the same foods, dressed in the same attire, listening to the same sounds, everything exactly the same, down to the history, everything exactly the same except for this person’s keyboard, under these conditions, will the same story be written? That means it has to use the same words and spacing. Entirely unoriginal. An exact replica. Carbon-copied. Or does every keyboard write unique stories? I feel like this is an experiment I should be able to try, but it’s impossible. As far as I know.
